It has been said that looking back is not the right thing to do. For the most part I would agree. That is unless you have reached a point of frustration. At this critical point it is by all means not only okay to look back, but in my estimation critical. By looking back you will be able to see how far you have come from where you started.

A good way to measure your success is not only how far you have come but also the amount of time it has taken you to get where you currently are.If you have only been trying to reach your target for a couple of months it may be too soon to tell how you are realistically doing.

Keeping track and maintaining records of all the steps you have taken in moving forward is another way of measuring how far you have come.If your goal includes being recognized and seen by a large amount of people, then the measure would be the action you took to achieve that.As we draw closer to the end of another calendar year ,measuring how far we have come I think is far better than how far we have to go. Measuring success in this way might just be the incentive you need to keep your momentum going!
