Whether you were up until the stroke of midnight or fell fast asleep at a quarter to the hour, a new year has arrived. It does not really matter how you see the new year come in. What is most important is that you remain true to yourself.

The same is true for how you embark on this New Year. For a lot of people it will mean the same old thing. If however, you take on the New Year with a NEW attitude there really is no limit to what can be achieved in twelve short months. This is how some people go from rags to riches in what seems like the snap of a finger.

This phenomenon of gaining wealth in a short amount of time is triggered by a series of events. The same can be true of people who are experiencing great difficulties in their lives. The same kind of momentum that can take someone down is exactly the same as what can drive you forward. It really comes down to the choices that we make and the decision we arrive at.

A few years ago, I was in such a position. I was working full time, taking care of my kids full time, and trying to take care of my business. All of a sudden out of no where I was blindsided with a financial situation that was completely out of my control. A major source of my income vanished over night. I was faced with the possibility of losing my home. I looked at renting an apartment for myself and my two children. The rent was more than my mortgage. And at the time we also had a dog. This made the search even more difficult.

I had gone out that New Year’s Eve with my boyfriend. It felt good to just release my stress for a few hours. But I made a promise to myself that night. The very next day I was going to do whatever it took to adopt a NEW attitude regarding my situation. The next afternoon I was back home. I immediately went to work. I dug out all my paperwork, retrieved important phone numbers, and started calling.

When I got voice mails I left messages, where there were e-mail addresses I sent correspondence. I became relentless in the pursuit of solutions to my predicament. Withing three weeks I had everything squared away. It wasn’t perfect by a long stretch, but we are still here in the house.

I wish for all of you a Year filled with Wealth. This can be emotional, physical or material. Whatever you can see in your mind you can have in your hands. Make a plan and see it come to life by your very touch!!

Happy New Year!!
