You have sealed the deal. Papers were signed , hands were shaken and all your hard work has paid off. Now the real work begins. Just like the politician who made a bunch of campaign promises, you should make sure all the aspects of the deal are in place before the project takes flight. Most of us would like to believe that nothing will go wrong. After all, look how long it took to make the deal in the first place. But it will be just your luck that something will go wrong and all the checks and balances you said were in place will be nowhere to be found. Better to have your”people” lined up in advance. Ready to take care of and deal with the problems that might come up. This will not only expedite the resolution to the problem, but it will also show that you understand nothing is perfect. Your customer will be unhappy that things did not go according to plan, but they will feel confident in your ability to have a “plan of action” in place just for such an occasion.

Give more service than is required and it will be returned to you tenfold!
