THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE …

always a chance

That your goal is closer than you think… Those ideas that you submitted to the agency have been reviewed and someone will be calling you soon. There is always a chance that things will work out in your favor. And more than likely events will turn in your favor because you took the time to create an opportunity where there appeared to be none.

Without your hard work at placing your request into the universe, your chances would be almost nothing. But for those of us who live as if we have nothing to lose and everything to gain, there is a window of hope that remains open. If you are like myself and have had some really challenging times, it is easy to allow CHANCE into your existence. Because without a CHANCE, all hope is lost. And it becomes all too easy to fall into a pattern of thinking that you CANNOT make it at all EVER!

When you are faced with circumstances that limit your CHOICES it is easy to lose sight of the fact that there might still be a chance. For many single parents finances are a heavy burden to say the least. If you qualify for some type of government assistance then some relief will be on the way. However, if you are anything like myself and make too much money to qualify things become quite interesting. When I say too much money I am talking about $1.00 too much.

There was a time when I was standing at the gas pump deciding how much gas to get in order to afford the amount of groceries that would cover myself and my two children until my next paycheck. With a limited number of choices available, I knew I had to do something. I took a CHANCE an did some things on my own for FREE. Instead of buying bread I made my own. I know what you are probably thinking, but I had enough time to make it through the double rise. My kids thought it was very cool to have homemade bread. No bread maker for me!!

I saved myself over five dollars a week by doing that. Five dollars does not sound like a lot until you do not have it. The money I saved by making my own bread I used to buy a whole gallon of milk instead of the quart I could only afford when I was buying bread.I also turned to making all homemade meals. I would stay up late at night cooking and packing everything up to freeze it.

Before I knew what was happening winter turned to spring that year and I had a CHANCE at developing my speaking skills. I have been wanting to do this in order to empower all women to realize that your circumstances can change at any time because THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE!!
