Have you taken any time lately to look at who is in your network? This is a very important thing to do. It is in your best interest to network with like Minded people. Those who share the same sort of vision for themselves as you do. This is not the same thing as people who are doing the same thing as you are. To build a network filled with people performing the exact same service or producing the same product only creates competition instead of true networking.

You network should be made up of people who offer goods or services that are complimentary to your own. If you are a baker you may want to have several restaurant owners as part of you network. These types of business owners may be able to utilize your services and you may be able to refer customers to them. Do not count out people who provide a service that is very different from your own. Sometimes they provide some of the best opportunities.

Take time to review who is in your network and make sure you are able to benefit each other!
