For most of us the only way we really know how well we are doing on the job and in life is based upon the feedback of others. In the workplace we get our feedback from our supervisors. But what if your ability to remain employed rested upon the feedback of your customers. What would that report card look like? I am not merely talking about your external customers. What we need to begin taking stock of are all of our customers. The people we interact with inside and outside the company. Do you approach the people inside the company with the same level of respect you give to your external customers whose business you need to stay in business? To give great customer service one must be of service to everyone we come into contact with.
