Sometimes it takes mother nature to bring us together. To pool our resources, that many can have shelter from harsh weather. It is unfortunate that we seem to be unable to behave in the same manner all the time. Once the storm has passed we forget what once brought us together and gave us common ground. Compassion and common courtesy get tossed aside as though the event never occurred. What is left are all the THINGS we place ahead of others as well as ourselves. We should be building character instead of consuming our time increasing our material storage.

Material possessions can be burned or stolen, but the true essence of a person can never be destroyed!
